Beautiful hand painted Romanian ceramics. Painted according to traditional Romanian method.
When the pottery is finished modelling, it is hand-painted according to the traditional method, where several layers of paint are applied and become beautiful, unique decorations.
After the first firing at 850-950 degrees, the ceramics are glazed with a water-based glaze. It then dries and is fired a second time at 1000-1100 degrees.
The meeting between clay and the many layers of color can create small crack-like lines. These are not to be considered errors. But normal to encounter in Romanian pottery.
In Romania, the pottery is mainly used as decorative pottery, but some also use it for food.
What you want to use the ceramics for is only limited by your imagination.
As decoration on the wall, for jewelery by the bedside table, or perhaps to cover a beautiful table with.
The ceramics can be used for food. We recommend washing it by hand.
My passion for quilting and patchwork dates back to when I was expecting my first child. Here I created my first patchwork product, a blanket for my baby.
JOU QUILTS develops and designs products made from surplus materials. We use yard goods that would otherwise not be used for patchworks and unique designs. Therefore, there is only the quantity that is. When sold out, sold out. We strive not to sew more than we can sell. That's why we never hold sales either.
