About Jou Quilts

Jou Quilts is a universe of Danish designed home textiles and home interiors established by Line Meldgaard Hviid.  in 2019.

Since the beginning, it has been an ambition to celebrate good handwork and craftsmanship. All products are therefore created by human hands and never mass-produced.

Our quilts and patchwork are often designed from surplus textiles and leftover fabrics that would otherwise have gone to waste. In addition, Jou Quilts uses a signature organic cotton that is used on everything from pillows and tablecloths to curtains and placemats.

The collections are designed with a sustainable mindset and with an ambition that the products will add personality to the home and last for many years to come.

Our ceramics are hand-painted by skilled potters in the town of Horezu . It is painted according to a well-known ancient unique method. This method is included as part of UNESCO'S world heritage.
