Payment

Jou Quilts accepts payment with Visa/Dankort and MobilePay.

The amount will only be charged to your card when the item is shipped.

All amounts are in Danish kroner and include VAT.

Freight

Jou Quilts packages and ships your items within 1-3 business days. Packages are primarily shipped with GLS in Denmark.

Right of complaint

JOU QUILTS acts in accordance with the guidelines and laws set out by the Danish Consumer Agency. Any complaints can be made in accordance with the rules laid down for trade in goods. This means that you can complain about defects and errors in the product that have occurred within 24 months of purchase. However, this does not apply to defects, damage or wear and tear that are a direct result of incorrect handling, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear on the product. In connection with defects or failure to deliver goods, please contact JOU QUILTS at hello@jou.dk .

If your complaint is justified, you will be reimbursed for your shipping costs. If you are returning an item, please inform us of the problem in as much detail as possible. Please ensure that the item is shipped safely and securely, and be sure to obtain a receipt for the shipment so that we can refund the amount.

At JOU QUILTS, we prioritize data security and confidentiality. At the same time, we want to give you the best possible experience when you use our website. When you shop in our webshop, we collect information to process your order and we give you the opportunity to sign up for relevant features, including sending marketing materials and other information about our products and activities. But only if you have given us your consent. In addition, your information may be used if an investigation into suspected fraud is carried out. The personal information we collect is your name, phone number, email address, home address and information about your purchase. For security reasons, we do not store payment information in our system. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation by email and inform you when your order has been shipped. Your name and address will be placed on a label placed outside the package of your purchased items before shipping. We only send your information to our partners to the extent necessary to ship your orders. JOU QUILTS processes personal data for marketing purposes in accordance with applicable law, including the requirement to obtain consent before sending electronic marketing. You have the right to be informed on request what information we have registered about you and to object to a registration under the Personal Data Act. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted. JOU QUILTS stores personal information and relevant purchase data for 5 years in accordance with the accounting requirement. GDPR – GENERAL DATA REGULATION

What data do we have about you? The data we collect is typically your name, address, email address and telephone number in connection with a purchase in our webshop (this information is entered by the customer themselves). When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.

In order to maintain and send your order / newsletter to you, it is necessary to retrieve this data. The data we collect comes exclusively from what you write about yourself, by using the Jou.dk webshop, or if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Can I gain insight into my data?

According to the Personal Data Protection Regulation, you as a customer have the right to know what information we have in our database. Please send your inquiry to: hello@jou.dk, and we will try to process your request within 4 weeks. Please note that your right to insight applies in most cases, but there are exceptions. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Borgergade 28, 1300 Copenhagen K) if you believe that you are not receiving the information you are entitled to according to the law.
