Payment

Jou Quilts accepts payment with Visa/Dankort and MobilePay.

The amount is only withdrawn from your card when the item is dispatched.

All amounts are in Danish kroner and include VAT.

Freight

Jou Quilts packs and ships your goods within 1-3 working days. Packages are primarily sent with GLS in Denmark. Jou Quilts pays for the shipping to Danish addresses for purchases over DKK 300. The customer pays for the return or exchange shipping themselves.

Right of complaint

JOU QUILTS acts in accordance with the guidelines and laws drawn up by the Danish Consumer Agency. Possibly complaints can be made in accordance with the rules laid down for trade in goods. This means that you can complain about defects and errors on the product that have occurred within 24 months of purchase. However, this does not apply to defects, damage or wear and tear which are a direct result of mishandling, lack of maintenance or general wear and tear on the product. In connection with shortages or non-delivery of goods, please contact JOU QUILTS at hello@jou.dk .

If your complaint is justified, you will be refunded your shipping costs. If you are returning an item, please inform us of the problem in as much detail as possible. Make sure the item is shipped safely and securely and make sure you get a shipping receipt so we can refund the amount.

Personal data policy

At JOU QUILTS, we prioritize data security and confidentiality. At the same time, we want to give you the best possible experience when you use our website. When you shop in our webshop, we collect information to process your order and we give you the opportunity to sign up for relevant features, including sending marketing material and other information about our products and activities. But only if you have given us your consent. In addition, your information may be used if an investigation of suspected fraud is carried out. The personal information we collect is your name, telephone number, email address, home address and information about your purchase. For security reasons, we do not store payment information in our system. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation via email and inform you when your order has been dispatched. Your name and address will be placed on a label placed on the outside of the package of your purchased items prior to shipment. We only send your information to our partners to the extent necessary to ship your orders. JOU QUILTS processes personal data for marketing purposes in accordance with applicable legislation, including the requirement to obtain consent before electronic marketing is sent. You have the right to disclose, on request, what information we have registered about you and to object to a registration in accordance with the Personal Information Act. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted. JOU QUILTS stores personal information and relevant purchase data for 5 years in accordance with the accounting requirement. GDPR – PERSONAL DATA REGULATION

What data do we have on you? The data we collect is typically your name, your address, your e-mail address and telephone number in connection with a purchase in our webshop (this information is entered by the customer himself). When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your e-mail address.

In order to maintain and send your order / newsletter to you, it is necessary to retrieve this data. The data we collect comes exclusively from what you write about yourself, using the Jou.dk webshop, or if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Can I gain insight into my data?

According to the personal data regulations, you as a customer have the right to know what information we have in our database. Please send your inquiry to: hello@jou.dk and we will try to process your request within 4 weeks. Please note that your right to access applies in most cases, but there are exceptions. You can complain to the Data Protection Agency (Borgergade 28, 1300 København K) if you believe that you are not receiving the information you are entitled to according to the law.
