Jou Jute Doormat made from textile scraps

This beautiful floor mat is handwoven in India in the durable material - jute and braided with textile scraps.

Jute is a natural material that is widely used and suitable for carpets and mats due to its wear resistance and durability.

Jute is biodegradable and renewable. It requires very little water and few chemicals to grow jute.

The mat can be used both indoors, e.g. at the door, in the bathroom or next to the bed. It can also be used outdoors on the terrace or balcony, but the mat must be placed in a sheltered place from rain and moisture.

Size: 70x40cm

Maintenance: We recommend shaking, brushing or vacuuming the mat regularly. The mat can also be wiped with a damp cloth.

Since the mats are made by hand and with leftovers from surplus textile production, all mats are unique and may vary slightly in size.
